We are pleased to announce the Gloucestershire chapters’ Mid-Autumn Festival Lunch will host Professor Robert Bickers, the Head of the Hong Kong History Centre (which includes the Historical Photographs of China initiative) at University of Bristol. Well known to HK Society members as the author of China Bound: John Swire & Sons and its World, 1816 to 1980.

Date: Wednesday 4th October 2023

Venue: The Pavilion at the Royal Oak Inn, The Burgage, Prestbury, Cheltenham, GL52 3DL

Time: 12.00 for 1.00pm

Cost: £39 members / £46 non-members

As in previous years, the lunch will be at The Royal Oak in Prestbury, Cheltenham, which is good value, delicious and great fun.
